Yes we do understand your concern but the reason being Oracle and Microsoft being independent companies the newer versions of IE are not always compatible with older Oracle forms products. If they release new Jinitiator with new JVM files then you can always update your jinitiator to fix the issue but until that we need to use this fix/workaround.
