Even after clicking on links with javascript code might not do any action and page will remain as it is. This could be caused by many reasons.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cause-1:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Sometimes accidentally Javascript Dynamic Linked Library (DLL) jscript.dll gets unregistered while uninstalling some non-standard programs.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Solution-1:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You can manually register javascript using following command.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>Click Start-&gt;Run-&gt;Type \u201cregsvr32 JScript\u201d -&gt; Click OK<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.oratraining.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/08\/register_JScript.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-401\" title=\"register_JScript\" src=\"http:\/\/www.oratraining.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/08\/register_JScript.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"347\" height=\"186\" \/><\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Alternatively you can use following command.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>Click Start-&gt;Run-&gt;Type \u201cregsvr32 jscript.dll\u201d -&gt; Click OK<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Click Start-&gt;Run-&gt;Type \u201cregsvr32 %systemroot%system32JScript\u201d -&gt; \u00a0OK<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>It will display following message box as a confirmation that now JScript or Javascript has been registered with your windows. This should fix all problems related to the same.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>DllRegisterServer in JScript succeded.<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.oratraining.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/08\/JScript_Register_Successful.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-402\" title=\"JScript_Register_Successful\" src=\"http:\/\/www.oratraining.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/08\/JScript_Register_Successful.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"263\" height=\"128\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Cause-2:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Sometimes by mistake or due to group policy your browser setting might have changed to prevent running scripts locally.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Solution-2:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You can enable scripting in Internet Explorer by using following method.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Open Internet Explorer -&gt; Tools -&gt; Internet Options -&gt; Click on &#8220;Security&#8221; Tab \u00a0-&gt; Under &#8220;Internet&#8221; click &#8220;Custom Level&#8221; \u00a0-&gt; \u00a0Scroll down till &#8220;<strong>Scripting<\/strong>&#8221; section -&gt; Under &#8220;<strong>Active Scripting<\/strong>&#8221; if it is not enabled, select &#8220;<strong>Enable<\/strong>&#8221; radio and click OK -&gt; Click OK<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.oratraining.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/08\/Enable_Scripting1.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-410\" title=\"Enable Scripting\" src=\"http:\/\/www.oratraining.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/08\/Enable_Scripting1.gif\" alt=\"Enable Scripting\" width=\"589\" height=\"625\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Close all browser windows and open new Internet Explorer window.<\/p>\n<p>This should enable scripting back in your browser.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Problem Statement: Sometimes users may find that all Javascript codes stop working in Internet Explorer or any other browsers.
